About Us

Built on a simple idea:
do it right, do it local

Alaska Builders Supply started with a straightforward observation: builders in the Mat-Su Valley deserved a supplier that understood Alaska's unique demands — from permafrost foundations to extreme temperature swings — and could stock materials that actually meet them.

Today, we're one of the region's most complete building supply outlets. Our warehouse on Sandy Hills Circle carries thousands of SKUs across every major category — lumber, concrete, roofing, insulation, tools, and more — so contractors and homeowners can walk in, get what they need, and get back to work.

We're not a franchise. We're not a big-box chain with a satellite office. We're a locally owned business that sees the same customers year after year, and that relationship is the reason we take our inventory, our service, and our word seriously.
